Welcome to this idyllic old farmhouse on Tjeldøya. The northern Light can be seen right outside the door and during the summermonths one can see cruiseboats on the Tjeldsund strait. The house is close to the sea, and the island is perfect for hikes in the mountains. You can fish cod, Salmon, makrell or flatfish - and if lucky you may ser the whales or some of the majestic eagles that habitates in this area. Hytta har også eget spabad som kan brukes av våre gjester. Perfekt base for en utforskende ferie i Vesterålen/Lofoten, eller bare for å være for seg selv og slappe av. Godt utgangspunkt for fjelltur eller tur på kyststien som ligger rett nedenfor hytta. Gå på oppdagelsesferd i bunkerser fra andre verdenskrig på nedlagte Nes fort, eller sjekk ut helleristninger i gåavstand fra hytta. Fine små strender, og mulighet for bading, fridykking og padling (hvis du har egen kajakk med deg). Kanskje blir du inspirert til en joggetur eller sykkeltur også? 2 soverom med gode dobbelsenger, 2 flatsenger på hems. Bilvei helt frem. 1 t 40 min kjøring til Svolvær i Lofoten.

Unlimited fishing and hiking potential. 35 minutes drive from airport & Harstad, 2.5 hours from Lofoten. Road access and free parking by the cabin. 10 minutes drive to grocery store & the sea. New cottage from 2014 just 10 km from Evenes Airport. The cabin is located halfway (260 km each way) between Tromsø and Å on the mainland of Lofoten. The cottage has a simple and good standard with most amenities one expects to find in a regular home. The cottage has lovely views towards Tjeldsundet in the north and has midnight sun from late May to mid July. In the dark part of the year there are good conditions for admiring the Northern Lights.
