Unwind at this cosy 2-bedroom cottage set on a private acre, just 2km from Esk and 1km from the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, showgrounds, racecourse and golf course. Enjoy queen beds, a farmhouse kitchen, vintage décor and French doors that open to breezes and bird song. Pick oranges from the magnificent old tree, relax by the fire pit, and spot visiting birds and possums. With a BBQ, double carport, and a fully fenced yard, this quiet retreat is private, safe, and perfectly located.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

Even though Wah Cottage is neatly 100 years old, it has been fully renovated so that it retains its country charm while still delivering creature comforts. Decorated with a nod to the french farmhouse aesthetic, the light filled rooms feature french cream walls and plantation shutters and farmhouse kitchen. The place is filled with original artworks, found objects and loved pieces. We love to stay at this cottage between our travels - so welcome to our home away from home.
