Het ruime, overkapte terras van 6x3 meter (westen) betrek je gemakkelijk bij de leefruimte. Je zit echt áán het (zwem)water van de schone plas. Overnacht in dit tiny house op een rustig eiland in de Vinkeveense Plassen. Een bijzondere plek waar je midden in de natuur overnacht, terwijl Amsterdam en Utrecht eenvoudig te bereiken zijn. Ideaal als je echt even tot rust wilt komen of wanneer je overdag de stad wilt ontdekken en daarna weer wil ontspannen. Het eiland is uitsluitend per boot bereikbaar. Voor €30 per dag huur je een motorbootje waarmee je eenvoudig van en naar het eiland vaart én de Vinkeveense Plassen kunt verkennen.

The chalet is located inside a vacation park (Proosdij) 900m or 10-15 min walk from the main entrance. Direct access to it is only by boat or bike. This location is for nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. From the houseboat you have a view of a nature-friendly bank that is ecologically managed by the local residents. You can view the many types of water birds and even the Kingfisher and the Cormorant come to catch a fish every now and then. The water is of very good quality and you can swim from the boat. You can also rent an electrically powered rowing boat from us to explore the area from the water.

Lovely holiday home at the beautiful Buitenborgh recreation park by the water. Swimming, boating, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, and enjoying the sun is our motto. Amsterdam and other Randstad cities are easily accessible by car. Public transport is located a little further away; there is a bus stop about 1 km walk/bike ride away, and a train station is 4 km walk/bike ride away. Having your own transport is recommended and parking is available in Abcoude.
