This sweet little house is great for those who want to get away from it all. It's like camping but with many more creature comforts. The house has hot and cold water in the summer but is off for the season now, end of October. The house does not come with sheets and towels but if you need that, please let me know and I’ll make that happen for a small fee ($15)! Great for kids! This unique cottage duplex is our home base for hiking, skiing, and paddling, and we're happy to share it with you! Tucked away on the edge of the village of North Woodstock, our modest retreat is a stones throw from all the excitement the region has to offer. Take a short walk to the nearest swimming hole, explore the National Forest, and be back in time to enjoy dinner on the back deck!

This small cabin has been re-built with new pine paneled walls and ceiling, bunk beds, carpeting, electricity, a new Eco-outhouse!, solar shower and It is located at the edge of a field about 100 yards from our home. It is a perfect base camp for hikers 12 miles south of Franconia notch trail heads and Appalachian Trail crossing. The cabin is most often used by hikers who want a base camp near many of the most popular hiking trails near Franconia Notch. It is a peaceful and quiet place.

Garden Retreat

Located in Central Vermont our studio apartment for two is surrounded by gardens with its own patio. Due to Covid precautions, we are only accepting FULLY VACCINATED guests, at this time. We are located north of Dartmouth College, near Barre/ Montpelier and close enough for day trips to the White Mountains, major ski areas and fly fishing.
