This studio is located in Welches, OR. It is the perfect location to access recreational activities in the Mt Hood area - only 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline or Meadows. The studio is located on the second floor inside the main house and shares a common entry. Arrah Wanna Trailhead is close and provides hiking and snowshoe trails that take guests into the Mt. Hood National Forest. When winter comes around, guests will have their pick of slopes at Mt. Hood Skibowl (just over 12 miles east), Timberline Lodge (20 miles east), and Mt. Hood Meadows (25 miles east).

Less than an hour from Portland, this quiet cabin in the woods is the perfect place to come home to after a day of skiing, hiking, golfing or whatever fun activity you found on Mt. Hood! It sits on 1.5 acres that backs up to the forest. There are lots of indoor and outdoor games to keep you occupied while at the cabin as well. The fire pit is great for roasting marshmallows and the hot tub provides relaxation after a fun day on the mountain.

*water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
