It is full of character defined by its architectural heritage, with multiple floor levels and original bath stone still on show. The living area has the high ceilings typical of Georgian buildings. Use the garden or explore our natural wildflower meadows with ponds and even a labyrinth. There are friendly pubs in nearby villages. We live above this self-contained flat with our lab Kit.

A Lovely rural location, stunning gardens. Great for visits to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Amesbury and Devizes. We do allow a well behaved pet. If you’re planning on bringing a pet, we’d like to know in advance as we make some small changes to the furnishings accordingly.

Skittles - stylish charm in a village near Bath

One of two apartments in the heart of Box, a popular village only 15 mins bus or drive from Bath. In a previous life, the building was a skittle alley for The Lamb Inn but that rang time in the 1960s and is now our home. The units are a mix of country and modern, with oak beams and doors and atmospheric lighting. A stylish, light and comfy space with a homely feel, attention to detail and a little touch of luxury. Tea, coffee, milk and cookies are provided.

The property is on a quiet country lane in Ditteridge but only a ten minute walk from the village of Box, close to the market town of Corsham, the National Trust village of Lacock and just 6 miles from Bath.
