Troedyrhiw is a sanctuary, a two bedroom, detached, character stone and beamed cottage nestling in a peaceful, wooded valley on the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border where nature is thriving. Rustic and comfortable. We are doggie friendly, are happy to welcome well behaved dogs. Troedyrhiw is the perfect base for being in nature, walking, cycling and exploring the scenic areas of this beautiful part Wales. The cottage was built in the 1800's and is a traditional, stone Welsh cottage.

Caban Corgi is the work of Welsh modernist architect Graham Brooks and was designed in a Scandinavian style in the 1970s, which essentially means plenty of natural wood and a fine line between the outdoors and indoors. The cabin, like all the others in Penlan Holiday Village is perfect for getting away from strenuous city life. You are close to the famous Cenarth falls and great beaches. Ideal for an off-grid escape, our cabin is situated on a peaceful holiday park, within easy reach of fantastic beaches and countryside in the Pembrokeshire National Park. The simple Scandinavian-designed cabin is cosy and quiet, with 60s inspired decor. There is a snug double bedroom and a small bedroom with full size bunkbeds, a lounge, dining room, deck and a proper bathroom and kitchen. On the park there is a playground, dog-walking field and swimming pool (open in peak summer).

Our place is a self-contained studio flat on the edge of a little town. There is an excellent vegetarian cafe and health food shop 2+ minutes walk away. The town itself is bustling but relaxed with a friendly atmosphere. The river and castle are ten minutes walk away. The area is rich for places of outstanding natural beauty Our house is three hundred years old and has a lot of history. It stands just above the town and has some beautiful views over the valley. It is an ideal base to explore the area and only a 20 minute drive to the beaches. The fishing season starts from April to October.
