Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. 'Sandig' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

The Yurt @ Ranish

The yurt is a tiny relaxing space . It is situated in Ranish , which is about 8 miles out of Stornoway and although it is at the back of a residential house you will feel like you are out on the crofts that surround it in this rural area of Lewis . The Croft fields around have a mixture of animals , including sheep , goats , geese , ducks & of course chickens , which can be a wee bit vocal at times . We have some very friendly chickens on the property as well .

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

North Beach House Apartment

North Beach Apartment is a recently renovated one bedroom apartment, located in central Stornoway. It looks over the town centre and onto the Lews Castle Grounds. Local amenities are within walking distance of the apartment: Co-op, coffee shops, Harris Tweed shop, bars, restaurants, butchers and fish mongers. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay. An ideal accommodation for a couple looking to explore the Western Isles.

The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Clachanach Beag

My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. In my croft I have Hebridean sheep and hens. Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring. The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

A very short walk to Uig Sands Restaurant for evening meals (closed over winter so check opening times ahead). Empty white sandy beaches for surfing, swimming, sunbathing or beach-combing.

The Little White Bothy is very central - offering the best choice to explore both Lewis and Harris. With views of Loch Erisort and the surrounding hills, it's a perfect place to go and relax. The bothy is very suitable for those looking to pursue walking, photography, or a quiet place to unwind, sit in the porch read a book watch out for eagles soaring by.
