Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. A delicious continental breakfast will be provided in your rooms. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use. lovely footpaths from the house for keen walkers.

The Annexe is our newly-renovated self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of the Northumbrian village of Stannington. We are located just off the A1, with easy access to Newcastle, the Airport, Northumberland Coast and Country, and Scotland. Stannington has a pub and farm shop and is only 5 miles from the market town of Morpeth. The Annexe is spacious and versatile, suitable for wedding guests, business travellers, family staycations, or stopovers whilst travelling north or south.

Lovely flat, secluded and overlooking river Tyne

Chollerton House is located in the hamlet of Chollerton and is set in its own grounds overlooking the river North Tyne which is just a hundred yards away across our own paddock. The flat is located on the first floor, affording lovely views on all sides, and has its own seperate access, assuring complete privacy. Chollerton lies only one mile north of the World Heritage site of Hadrian's Wall and the flat provides a charming and secluded base from which to explore beautiful Northumberland.

A one bed roomed but spacious bungalow, converted from a farm building. Set amongst beautiful Northumberland countryside. The coast is about 30 minutes away, plenty of National trust buildings and interesting gardens within an hour including Alnwick Castle & gardens (Harry Potter/Downton Abbey film location), Cragside, Wallington etc Well and comfortably furnished. WINDY HALL - Secluded luxury with stunning views

Windy Hall is somewhere very special. High in the Pennines it offers one of the most magnificent views in England. You may want to stay and enjoy the peace & quiet, but we are ideally placed for trips west to the Lake District, east to the magnificent cathedral city of Durham, and north to Hadrian's Wall. It's unusual in that you have to walk the last 240 metres to the house, though we will bring up your luggage in our 4WD. But don't let this put you off; please just read our reviews!

Within walking distance of Hadrian’s Wall, St. Oswalds Way and Great Whittington village (with pub). A short drive away are golf courses, market towns, amazing restaurants and a little further away are the beach, Northumberland National Park, Newcastle city centre and plenty more attractions.
