Situated between the historic sites of Calanais and the Broch, it is also next to breathtaking beaches, hills and coastline. The village of Breasclete is on East Loch Ròg, at the end of the panoramic Pentland moorland road, with opportunities to appreciate the island's wildlife, traditional crofting at work and an active Gaelic community.

Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

"Sandig" Cosy 1 bedroom Log Cabin Dog Friendly

'Sandig' is a cosy 1 bedroom log cabin in a prime location to explore the historic attractions of the westside of Lewis. Located in close proximity to the Hebridean Way, Sandig is ideal as a base to visit such sites as the Callanish Stones, Garenin Blackhouses and Doune Carloway Broch. Carloway is also home to two stunning beaches, Dal Mor and Dal Beag, and is ideal for hillwalkers, cyclists, surfers, birdwatchers, or even those looking for a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Heron's View

Heron's View is a lovely, light, airy, spacious and well presented glamping pod. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well kitted out kitchen, bathroom with full size shower to a comfortable sitting area. It has a double bed and the sofa converts to a double bed. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

The Mangersta Pod

When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Situated in the village of Mangersta on the Atlantic coast of Lewis, the pod is a few minutes walk away from a remote beach and stunning cliff walks. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty with over 20 beaches as well as beautiful moorland and lochs.

Falasgair

Falasgair is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

Otternish Pods, North Uist

Otternish Pods on North Uist are situated on a working croft and are ideally located for exploring the islands. 1 mile from Berneray ferry terminal and 10 miles from Lochmaddy. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Loch View (and it's neighbour, Broch View) is a log cabin well-appointed to a high standard right beside the Dun Carloway broch, in the heart of the West side of Lewis attractions of Callanish Standing Stones, Garenin Blackhouse Village, the spectacular Dalmore and Dalbeg beaches,etc. It has all you need for a comfortable stay from a well fitted kitchen, bathroom with full size shower, double bed, and a comfortable sitting area. The cabin sits in a beautiful and historic area.

Bayview Croft House

Bayview Croft House was built in the 1930s and has remained in the same family ever since. It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep. If you are an outdoor enthusiast there are many local beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty all within easy reach. As well as good opportunities for fresh and salt water fishing within walking distance. Sorry we do not take pets.

Eranca Cottage

Stunning 1 bedroom cottage on the west side of Lewis that sits with south facing patio 20m from the waters edge. Finished to a high standard, with living room / kitchen open plan with patio doors leading onto decking, Shower/Bathroom with large shower and a whirlpool bath. Enjoy the long summer evenings looking out onto Loch Roag. Cottage is 1 mile from the famous Callanish standing stones and is in the ideal locaction for exploring the island.

Taigh Aosd

Come stay in our newly renovated traditional croft house, An Taigh Aosd, which is the gaelic for The Old House, Originally built in 1939. Our house is located in Breasclete which is a very central location on the island, we are less than 2 miles from the Callanish stones and a 10 minute drive to the beach. An Taigh Aosd has 2 bedrooms, a large kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a stove. There is also a secret room if you manage to find it.

Riverview Cottage, centrally situated for touring.

Riverview Cottage is a comfortable home from home from which to enjoy your holiday. It is centrally situated on the island in the village of Breasclete and is a 5 minute drive from the famous Callanish Standing Stones or alternatively approximately a 40'minute walk. We are confident you will enjoy your stay in the cottage. It is a quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. The cottage boasts spectacular views looking on to Loch Roag and the Uig hills.
