In a short 3 minute drive you will be in downtown Marathon where you will find shopping at Front Street Books, Evans Gallery and Pitaya Verde. Stop by the famous White Buffalo Bar for an award winning margarita. Just a 45 minute drive to the entrance of Big Bend National Park where you will find incredible hiking, river rafting, bike riding as well as an opportunity to cross over into Mexico and Boquillas.

Casa Vista Grande sits on a hilltop with spectacular unobstructed views of Big Bend NP and the Chisos Mtns. It's 1.3 miles south of Terlingua on a good dirt road…off Hwy 170. It is 6 miles to the entrance of BBNP. The river, mountain biking, hiking, and stables are nearby. Our remodeled 1200 sq. ft. adobe house features one bedroom with a king bed, a queen Murphy bed in the spacious living area, vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, large bathroom with tiled shower, fire pit, and two covered porches.

The location is central, 5 minutes from the national park and Ghosttown, on the main highway. Each cabin has a full kitchen with all cooking essentials. A wrap-around deck on three sides with patio furniture, a covered pergola, & a firepit. We have a clubhouse with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, arcades, darts & more. We have 12 rentals in total for large groups to stay together.

Other amenities include microwave, refrigerator, record player, vintage games, books and more. Relax and enjoy the morning sunrise and sunsets on the porch while gazing at the breathtaking mountain views at 3600 feet in elevation. This cabin sits on 230 acres which makes it peaceful and private with wildlife and the star gazing is just fabulous.  Another great feature is that this cabin is only .2 miles from Tx Hwy. 118 on a private, well maintained road and is only 9 miles North of Study Butte and a 15 minute drive to the Big Bend National Park entrance.

Blue-Green Sears Kit House

Our lovely, blue-green house was built from a Sears kit in the 1920s. It has been extensively remodeled in the last few years and is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay during your visit to the Big Bend area. My wife and I actually stayed in this house years ago, on one of our first trips to Big Bend, and fell in love with it. We had the opportunity to come out to the region for work and knew we wanted to make this house our home.
