This historic property was the home of Scottish explorer James Augustus Grant. Bliss cottage was added to the big house for the men to enjoy their after dinner whiskey and smoke. Each has an en suite shower room and kitchen area, double bed, small single bed with a further pull out small single bed under, fridge, kettle, toaster, cutlery etc. Outside a fire pit with BBQ grill. Camp Sites and Control of Development Act 1960 Site License means short term rental registration exempt.

Osprey Hide

A unique and peaceful get away awaits you at ‘Osprey Hide’. Our converted steading has open views over farmland and woodland that stretch over Findhorn Bay. This is a great spot to watch the Moray Ospreys as they range over the Bay. Outside you will find a private spa tub, patio and BBQ area. We are close to Forres and Findhorn Bay is a short walk / bike ride from the door. There are lovely country walks all around us.

welcome to our lovely caravan, it has 1 double room and 1 twin room, this makes it perfect for small families, all bedding and towels are supplied by us, we are situated in a very quiet location 3 miles west of Forres and 8 miles east of Nairn, on the main A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road, nearby we have Brodie Country Fare and Brodie Castle, plus miles of forest and beach walks just on our doorstep
