Nestled among Hemlock trees & steps from a 30 ft waterfall is our cozy A-frame cabin. Sitting on 33 private acres connected to state land, enjoy waterfall views while sipping coffee in front of the fireplace. The casita was intentionally designed to feel like a home away from home. In summer, cool off in the waterfalls & private streams, in autumn take in the stunning foliage & in winter ski/snowboard at Belleayre (25 mins away). Alder Lake & the Pepacton Reservoir fishing are a 10 min drive.

Heating is from a wood-burning stove, there is no AC. The bath house is a separate structure from the cabin, up a hillside with stone steps. Come and enjoy the peaceful tranquility and relaxation at the Blue Heron Lake House, 2876 West Lake Road on Gorton Lake, West Edmeston, NY. We offer an open concept efficiency apartment on the first floor with full kitchen, full bathroom, 2 beds (1 King, 1 full), TV and wifi, sitting and dining area, all with direct access to the lake. We have a whole house generator in case of a power outage.

Our decor is an Adirondack theme. Log bed, knotty pine. ceiling lighting and windows for natural brightness. Quiet, warm, relaxing. A large pond to enjoy, sitting by with a good book or watching the wildlife. We have a cobblestone firepit to enjoy during the evening surrounded by seating.
