The secluded Hot Tub is tucked under cedar trees, over the beach, private for either cabin, but not at the same time.

Some say the cabin has a nautical feel with galley kitchen, wood paneling and brass light fixtures. In the bathroom, copper pipes become towel racks. Outside there are deck chairs and more by the water along with a meditation maze made from beach stones. The lighthouse is a short beach walk away. The reading and writing room, across the path, is a refuge for solitary study or work. Enjoy the water, marine life and birds here where each season brings new joy and sometimes, excitement.

"The Shedd" used to be a shed before our architect got a hold of it and turned it into a retreat for writing, reading, and napping. Even though it's just a 7-minute walk to the village, our place backs up to the wilderness, with great views of Tumwater Mountain and Icicle Ridge.
