Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Keep it simple in this peaceful retreat in the centre of Wheddon Cross. Exmoor is an international dark sky reserve and The Retreat couldn’t be better placed for stargazing. A south facing stylish getaway in the middle of Exmoor National Park. There is private fishing for the keen fisherman, endless doorstep walks, fresh water swimming, a short walk into Dulverton for cream teas, boutique shops and fabulous places to eat. There are French doors that open out onto a stone patio where you can sit and take in the views. Well behaved dogs are very welcome too.

You will love our luxurious newly converted barn with its woodburning stove and sauna. It is adjacent to our farmhouse so help is on hand with advice on the local area. Although we are in a secluded valley, it is just a short walk along the riverbank to the village stores, two recommended pubs and a tearoom, so no worries about whose turn it is to drive!
