An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Low Green Barn is a converted barn, attached to our family home and located in the middle of the village of Mickleton. Before booking, please bear in mind we offer limited cooking facilities, with no oven or grill. We can provide you with local recommendations for eating out. Driveway parking is shared with owners and can accommodate one guest vehicle. Owners Tessa and Dave live in the adjoining main farmhouse and are available via text/in person if needed.

The river wear is just at the bottom of the house with country walks in every direction. Very scenic and relaxing place to visit with very friendly locals. Ideal place to visit local attractions. Stanhope is 8 mile away while in the opposite direction there is Alston which is 15 miles away.
