A private dock on a tidal creek with a great view of a 150 year old lighthouse, a flower garden and an extensive lawn make this property ideal for friends, family and pets. This is the upper level of a two unit home so very safe for families. An open concept kitchen, dining and living rooms are all connected. A very large breakfast bar with eight bar stools and a view of the TV. Premium cable TV and great wifi. This listing is for the use of the entire top floor unit. We only ask that guest not try to access the first level living space. The front and rear yards are available anytime during your stay. There is a large rear lawn with scenic marsh views and views of the Ravenel cable-stay Bridge and Morris Island lighthouse. The large front deck has limited views of the ocean and the breaking surf can be heard throughout the home. I'm available by text most anytime. Near the “washout” an area for the best surfing in SC, Morris Island where the Civil War Battle of Battery Wagner was fought and a bird sanctuary for the bird watcher Uber and Lyft for trips into the city of Charleston. There is no public bus service on the island. Traffic getting on the island can be heavy on the weekends so do your grocery shopping during the week or on your way in. There is a small market on the island but very limited and expensive.

The Space Ranch is a fun, funky house that we love and hope you will too. There are three bedrooms (the spaceship bunk bed is in a playroom, and there is a trundle bed in the bonus room downstairs). The house comfortably and legally sleeps up to 8 people. There is a beach access path immediately out the front door (a 1-3 minute walk), and from the backyard and back porch there are views of the marsh and Folly River. You will find our house fully-stocked-we have stayed in many Airbnbs, and want to make sure you have what's needed, without being burdened with our belongings. LOCATION: Our home is located right between Charleston and Folly Beach - 12 minutes/5 miles to each. ISSUES? Our son & daughter-in-law live right around the corner, and care for the home.
