Join a storytelling tour at the Topography of Terror museum, where we will explore a unique family history at the former headquarters of the Gestapo and the SS and talk about the dark history of Nazi-era Berlin. • As we walk through the open-air portion of this historical landmark, we’ll discuss the exhibits detailing the rise of the Nazi regime and its use of terror to control society. • Next, we will enter the indoor part of the museum and contiue the story through a walk in the library. Along the way, I’ll talk about my family’s connection to these historical events through my great-grandfather, the mayor of Berlin until 1935. • We will then move on to a cafe to share our personal reflections on what we’ve seen, and talk about how history shapes our understanding of identity and memory today. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Berlin’s complex past, the atrocities committed during World War II, and the far-reaching consequences of this dark era.

Paseo políticamente incorrecto por Berlín

My tour of Berlin is very different than the usual Politically correct BS. Actually, think of this as the Politically incorrect tour of Berlin, so feel free to bring along your favorite rude jokes when joining us. It will be full of bad language and bad taste jokes-while paying respect where it is due. No snowflakes allowed! Our exploration will involve memorials, monuments and graves, along with churches and parks. We will discuss a mix of history, current events, local cuisine, the best spots for a cold German beer by the city center of Berlin. Be prepared to be socially active. Other things to note The tour is meant for adults, 18 or older. Each guide will be identified with a small yellow flag and our name!

So, here's the plan: You get to become part of one of the biggest and most fun stand comedy shows in English in Berlin! And it's all on a boat! It's a fun, vibrant, energetic and friendly show - EVERY Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We'll have pre-show drinks and then enjoy a great line up of Open Mic comics doing 5-7 minutes of material and an awesome headliner to top it all off. After that we'll have some relaxed drinks at the bar where we mingle and you get to know the comics and the other people joining the experience in a more private setting. So, ask all those questions you've had but never dared to ask about comedy. Other things to note You can smoke on deck, but not in the bar. The bar only serves snacks, but there's plenty of restaurants and bistros nearby. If you ever find one of the experiences as fully booked, consider joining us the night before or after. Frankfurt en dos horas: un recorrido corto, pero divertido

I will take you on a 2-hour walk around the city. Don't worry, you won't have to walk all 2 hours, stories and history are taking up the bigger portion of the tour. There are lots of cities in Europe, where you can simply get off at the train station, walk down the historical centre and just stroll around, admiring unique architecture, watching locals and have a good time. Sadly, Frankfurt is not one of these places, I am not trying to build up suspense :) I know it from experience and from my travellers, who have been to the city before and told me the tour helped a lot! It is a very interesting and historically important place, not just in the German, but in the European history and it's good to have somebody point it out. Otherwise it may stay in your memory as a nice hub with a big airport and a place in Germany where it's not easy to find good beer. Don't worry, I know the places :) I also use lots of before-after pictures to help you understand the city better. Most of it has been lost, sadly, but together we will try to recreate the feeling. For the technical part, if you have a layover of 4 or more hours, you can make it! It's 15 min from the airport and 16 min back, if necessary I will bring you back to the train station, that will get you to the airport. I have often had this kind of practice and so far no one missed the flight ;) Can't wait to meet you!

Our tour will walk past the great sites of the city, the ones everyone knows and loves, and then, take a few turns on less known streets. You'll find here hidden Roman archaeological remains, breathtaking historical monuments, and even some of the most popular local bakeries and beer halls. To the untrained eye Cologne is a busy, fun, modern city. But we will focus on small architectural details that hide fascinating stories of war, competition between cities, religion and customs. I will also make sure you do not leave the tour without seeing some of the coolest postmodern art installations, the kind of installations that some people only see in their university books, or on the news. During our time together I like to build a small community. After all, we have lots in common: new to the city, excited and eager to see, learn and have fun. I am looking forwards to swapping travel stories, and a joke or two. Other things to note Dress according to the weather please.

Pintando con tecno junto a un artista berlinés

I would like to invite you for a 2.5 hour workshop, to paint together, to discuss art and music, and to get acquainted with Berlin’s unique Techno scene. This workshop is meant for you to express your creativity. You won’t need to buy materials and you don’t need to have prior painting experience. You just need to show up and enjoy the process. In the end you will have a beautiful work of art (acrylic on canvas), made by you, ready to be hung on your walls. How it goes: First we will explore the creative process, and decide on the color palette for each person. Then we will absorb ourselves in the music and learn how to translate its energy into painting. You will be personally instructed in the unique technique and the use of colors. We will begin to work in layers of color. You will be immersed in the creative process, forgetting your everyday life and expressing your inner playfulness. We will take one break to dry the layers, discuss the process, evaluate the outcome so far and decide how to proceed. During the break drinks will be served. While we're painting I will gladly share the "secrets" of Berlin's club culture. Discussing the dress codes and door policies of the major clubs, where I party every weekend. Other things to note Please contact me if you are a group. I have ability to host groups up to 8 people, but details need to be discussed first.

El arte del strudel de manzana

Wir backen gemeinsam 2 gezogene Apfelstrudel: Dazu bereiten wir zuerst zwei Teigportionen zu. Während diese rasten, schälen wir gemeinsam Äpfel und bereiten alle anderen Zutaten vor. Nachdem ich dir anhand der 1. Teigportion gezeigt habe, wie man den Teig auszieht, füllt, rollt und auf das Backblech hievt, kannst du es selbst ausprobieren und die 2. Teigportion zu einem Apfelstrudel verarbeiten. Den frisch gebackenen Apfelstrudel verkosten wir anschließend bei einer gemütlichen Tasse Kaffee oder Tee. Selbstverständlich kannst du das Rezept für den Apfelstrudel anschließend mit nach Hause nehmen. Je nach Saison verarbeiten wird die Äpfel, die in unserem eigenen Garten wachsen. Ansonsten zu beachten Man sollte ca. 2,5 Stunden dafür einplanen, da der Strudel frisch gebacken und danach verkostet wird.
