Welcome to Orchard cottage, a single storey building, annexed to ( but separate from ) our house. The cottage is furnished to a high standard. We are situated on the outskirts of a private residential area, just 400 metres from the centre of the historic market town of Welshpool, there are various shops, supermarkets, pubs & restaurants. The magnificent Powis castle is a short walk from the town centre, through the beautiful parkland. Other attractions include Montgomery canal & light railway.

It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband. Although will sleep 6 in 3 bedrooms by special arrangement , ideal if just attending events for overnight stay . It is located in its own unspoilt secluded setting surrounded by nature with breathtaking views . Enjoy the amazing deep copper bath or soak under the stars in the wood fired hot tub . Red House Cottage (self catering cottage)

Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Gothic Victorian Gate House & Hot Tub Welshpool

This beautiful, unspoilt detached 1820s gate lodge, with exposed beams, flagstone floor and eclectic decor, lies just a short stroll from the centre of the charming market town of Welshpool, with its fine selection of shops, inns and restaurants. Situated opposite the town’s train station for the Llanfair Heritage Steam Railway. Its location affords easy access to the gateway of wales. Uneven flagstone steps to 1 double bedroom. Sofa bed in living room and single bed via steep stairs.

It has everything you need to retreat from the real world, whether it's for a cosy night in, in front of the log burner or a chance to sit and stargaze on the deck. There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

Located amongst the picturesque Mid Wales countryside, just northwest of Welshpool, Stabal y Nant Cottage offers a charming and luxurious holiday retreat for up to 4 people, with a cosy living room and kitchen area downstairs, and double bedroom and twin beds upstairs. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings on our outdoor BBQ decking area, by the pond and stream below or on a nearby walk. Stabal y Nant is also close to several popular attractions including Powis Castle and Lake Vyrnwy.
