The house is charming and cozy and located right next to Mjøsa. Here you can wake up listening to the waves from the lake and see beautiful sunsets at the evening. Mjøsa is Norway's larges lake with great fishing. The house have a 120 meter private shore with a beach in the end. Perfect for kids (see picture for equipment). Vi har pusset opp den gamle drengstua på gården, og leier den ut for kortere og lengre opphold. Pilgrimer får ekstra rabatt, ta direkte kontakt på sms 97786500. Stedet passer best for 2 voksne, eller familie med 2 mindre barn.Boligen ligger på gårdstunet, men allikevel skjermet. Det er kort gangavstand til Mjøsa, du rusler ned på 5 minutter. Der kan du bade. Pilgrimsleden går rett forbi tunet, og det er mange andre fine turmuligheter på sykkel og til fots.

Det gamle sommerfjøset til Hovelsrud Gård ligger idyllisk til mellom Mjøsa og en bølgende kornåker – et enkelt og unikt sted for den som vil komme tett på naturen og nyte roen på Helgøya. Huset passer best for et par eller en liten familie med inntil to barn. Inne er det et soverom og en åpen stue. Ute er det en kjøkkenbenk, med et gassbluss og grill, en liten strand med bademulighet og utedo. Det er ikke strøm.
