Take a hike through the woods along the well beaten trails. Sit for hours around the fire pit, roast hotdogs or s’mores, or just relax. During berry season you can be the first one in the field and/ or the last one out.We are close to Kirbyville, where there are several restaurants, antique stores, and boutiques.

At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. Relax while swinging on the porch and enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning (or wine at night:) Take a hike in the Big Thicket National Preserve, or go canoeing or kayaking down the famous Village Creek (ask us how!)
