Being 5 minutes from Downtown Akron, 35 minutes from Downtown Cleveland, and 10 minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park, there is a lot of nightlife, hiking and biking in the area. The Bronson Barn is located on the grounds behind the home that was originally owned by H.V. Bronson who initially plotted the town of Peninsula. Nestled in the heart of the park, it is walking distance to restaurants, shopping, train depot and bike rental. The national park has hundreds of miles of hiking trails, biking trails, river walks or kayaking, amazing waterfalls, and nature walks to see wildlife. You can also enjoy the ski resort located a few miles away for any winter sports!

The JoKo Cottage

Welcome to our cozy little cottage built in the early 1930’s by a then well-known artist, Joe Koch (JoKo was his artist name). Joe designed and built the cottage and is full of his unique style. It was featured in 1950 in The Akron Beacon Journal with lots of pictures! All of the wormy chestnut wood (wood with holes in it) is original to the cottage. Even the tile by the fireplace is original. In this place many beautiful things were created. We hope you find beauty here too!

Welcome to the Rose Inn. This charming studio apt is a tastefully renovated basement space. The space is private with its own private, secure entrance. The neighborhood is Highland Square, a very quite, yet 3 blocks away a bustling area just west of DT Akron. The space is bright, elegant and moody with tasteful nods to mid century design. The kitchen is equipped with a 2 burner cook top, an air fryer and coffee station. Laundry is available upon request.

The Cottage at FarmFlanagan

We are a cottage like residence in one of the few small towns between the cities of Cleveland and Akron, Ohio; right down the road from Michael Angelo's Winery and not far from the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park, Boston Mills + Brandywine Ski Resorts, and under an hour to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The cottage is tucked a driveway away from our old farm house and century old barn. Enjoy this relaxing getaway!
