The Lake is a short hike from your door and is great for fishing, boating, water skiing, hiking, wildlife, camping, and picnicking.

Shore access can be via our SUP/kayaks once at the house. Please note there is no wifi. Plenty of room to lay your heads, shower/change, and cook meals. Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.
