Ennerdale with its beautiful remote & deep glacial lake, is only 5 miles away.

The Carriage - A first class experience

Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

Built in 1838, originally an outbuilding for a Methodist Chapel which has undergone a full renovation and conversion into a quirky 1 bedroom house which is filled with amazing features and full of character! The cottage resides within our farm, Terrace Farm with open countryside and panoramic views of the Lakeland Fells and numerous Wainwrights including Melbreak, Whiteside, Low Fell, Hopegillhead to name but a few.
