We will meet at the picnic area in the canyon of the river Cetina. I will tell you where you can leave your car and we will drive in the van 20 minutes to the starting point. On the starting point, my companions will help you choose suitable equipment and adventure can begin. You will meet your river guide who will be with you in the boat during the whole trip. You will paddle through untouched nature far from roads and houses where you can see rapids, waterfalls, caves and quiet parts of the river. After a while, we will take a break at a small beach where you can swim, relax or have fun in a shallow part of the water. In the middle of the route, you will have about 5 minutes of walking by the river where you will see natural springs and have the opportunity to refill your water bottle. You will jump back in the boat as we have about one hour of enjoying the beautiful scenery and some more challenging rapids (nothing to be afraid of). On the last part of the trip, we will pass between huge cliffs and have the opportunity to stop swimming again or take a short walk around the rocks. The finish point of the trip is the same picnic area where you left your car. We will drink something and say goodbye (or see you again). Cetina is not a wild river, so you do not need to be experienced or well physically prepared to join.

We are meeting on a spot( we will give you a notice about location and time of a meeting) in Split city center from where we organise a transport to the shelter. If you do have a car or coming from somewhere else- please let us know. Upon arrival we will give you a introduction of the shelter and our foundation, you will hear about our activities, goals and dogs journey in the shelter after which we will be meeting the doggies and doing the daily chores-cuddling, making photos and socialising the dogs. IMPORTANT: If you cannot make the specific date and time we scheduled, feel free to contact us and we will arange an experience just for you or your group. :) Other things to note Please wear old clothes that can get dirty in contact with dogs that sometimes greet you in an enthusiastic way. It is advised to be dog friendly to enjoy this experience to its full potential!

Set off from the Old Town, where looking up at the imposing medieval walls, you’ll get a true invaders’ perspective of the city! Delve into the history and battle scars of the 900-year-old walls before we set course towards waters near the cursed island of Lokrum. As we paddle near the lushly wooded isle, you’ll discover the roots of its age-old curse, hear tales of the island’s remarkable previous inhabitants and take in stunning views. Amidst towering rocks and the translucent blue-green Adriatic we visit a sea cave on the far side of the island. Listen to it echo with the island’s secrets. We then circle back towards the mainland, passing by the entrancing ruins of what was once the most beautiful hotel in the area. We “drop anchor” at a spectacular beach cave for sunbathing, selfies, swimming or snorkeling through crystal waters, and refuel on a host provided snack. Paddling onward, snap photos of Dubrovnik’s ‘Beverly Hills’, the area’s most glamorous and expensive neighborhood. At the edge of the Old Town harbor we stop near Lazareti, Europe’s first quarantine zone. On final approach take pictures and bask in the spectacular sky-meets-sea views of the Old Town. This experience is a great opportunity to study something new and take home your own handmade souvenir. I prepared for you several variants of pictures, you can choose one of them or imagine your own picture. You will have all necessary materials to create your souvenir: frame, acrylic paints, brushes, palette, canvas, glue, pebbles. When you finish your art work, I will also teach you to write your name in ancient Croatian language – glagolitic alphabet. You can write it on the back side of your souvenir or on the pebble.
