HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.

A historical old house lodge "Kusanoniwa"

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.

[Hida Takayama] Kiyomi sou - Luxury Retreat

Se trata de un edificio que se erige en una extensa propiedad que supera los 2000㎡ y combina elementos japoneses y occidentales. (Limitado a un grupo por día) En el exterior, puede disfrutar de una vista del cielo estrellado mientras se dedica a actividades como una barbacoa en una gran parrilla, hogueras, una carpa sauna. Autumn Takayama Festival is held on October 9th and 10th every year. My house is located in the center of autumn Takayama festival venue. The highlights of festival called YOIMATSURI(宵祭) is started just in front of my house. If you stay my house in this festival, you can enjoy the festival all day, from morning to night!! KURA is Japanese traditional building. We renovated it to stay. You can stay here only one group a day.
