Located in Manoy Creek on Lake Martin, it is less than 250 steps to the water through a wooded trail and offers lake access in the summer and creek access in the winter with a shared dock area. Relax on the covered porch & fire pit or fish on the banks of the creek or enjoy a day of adventure on a kayak or boat which can be kept at the shared dock. (Shared with other tiny cabin)

Our house is a work in progress but very spacious and great for families. Our house has many windows and French doors that let the outside in. Enjoy our spacious porches and overlooking the lake. Private Cabin with a Wood Stove, Sink, Cook Stove, Full Bed, linens, bedding, pillows and towels. Fall - Spring: shared Hot Tub Available Friday nights. Shared Sauna Available with cold plunge Saturday nights. Cabin is accessed by a trail (386 ft long) from the retreat center (521 ft from parking). Privy and shower are at the center. Parking for one car only. Parksland is a clothing optional retreat. We honor each person's clothing choices.

Looking for a unique place to stay? We have it. Cap's Caboose is a one of a kind overnight rental. It is in a quite friendly community, and is within a 30 minute drive of the beautiful Cheaha mountains (State Park). Ashland is the nearest town only 6 miles away and has several restaurants including McDonalds, several privately owned cafes and a Piggly Wiggly for groceries. There is a Dollar General in Millerville just 2 miles away.

The start of this project was a box off a u haul truck. Now it is a cozy tiny home where animals come right up to the deck and you can enjoy sunsets over the pond. We love to have this place where families can come out and get away from the rat race of life and enjoy being out in nature. Guests are welcome to join us for whatever activities we are doing during your stay whether it’s working in the garden or caring for the animals.
