The Yurt is an extraordinary refuge from the frenzy of the city. Securely set high (7600ft) among mountains, the views stretch out in all directions backing up to the Cibola National Forest. Elk, deer, coyotes, and many birds share their land with us. The dark night sky is breathtaking. The yurt is off-the-grid lit by soft oil lamps after sunset. We also laid a seven-circuit labyrinth for meditative walking. A hot tub is available up at the house. You are welcome to this place of peace.

From the deck of the Yurt, you will have unobstructed spectacular views, including the Ortiz Mountains, Cerro Pelon & the entire cosmos at night!

Little John Hike-in 16-foot Camping Yurt

PLEASE read all information about the yurt before booking. Enchanted Forest offers stunning vistas along meandering forest trails for hiking and mountain biking. It is a 1.25-mile hike (or bike) to the Little John Yurt (no driving). This is (upscale) CAMPING, not a hotel room. A wood stove provides heat, there is no electricity, running water, or room/maid service. Because of COVID-19, we provide fitted sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Bring a sleeping bag or comforter for cold temperatures.

Exotic Serenity Yurt

Enjoy the sounds of nature and the the brilliant show of stars in the night sky through the dome skylight when you stay in this unique Mongolian Yurt on the 156 acre Santa Fe Treehouse Camp. Just 30 minutes SE of the historic Santa Fe Plaza you drive up 1.3 miles of dirt road with beautiful views to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The Mushroom Yurt

Off-grid rustic Mushroom yurt. This little yurt can sleep up to four people. It has a bunk bed cot and a queen size tri-fold mattress. There is a picnic table, a fire pit, and an outhouse. Taos is approximately 30 miles, Red River 20 miles and Questa is 9 miles away. Cell service is good with Verizon and T-Mobile. The yurt has a solar power system to charge your devices. The yurt is heated, but only seasonally. Sunshine rd is plowed in the winter, the driveway is not plowed.
