This beautiful 2 BR, 2 BA, top-level apt is located a block from the beach, facing the sound, in S Nags Head. "The Electric Turtle" sleeps 6 and is on a quiet, dead-end street. Many attractions are conveniently located within walking/biking distance: mini golf, the Adventure Park, & the Nags Head Outlet Mall. The beach is straight across the bypass with a private entrance for our street and surrounding condos. Wi-Fi, bed linens, towels, coffee ,tea, & many other essentials are all included.

The apartment is very private and is a pleasant 5-minute walk to downtown Manteo where you will find shops, restaurants, a playground, a walking path along the marina and surrounding harbor, and Roanoke Island Festival Park which hosts musical events and more.

(See Second Wind and Cackalacky Dreamin' to rent together.) Beach access is just 100 yards away, down a secret path just steps from the cottage! Step out on the front porch to chill, read a book or chat with family and friends. The back deck includes adirondack chairs, picnic table, and a park grill for grilling.

Welcome to "Blue Umbrella", part of a 1935, 2-cottage, beachfront property in historic "Cottage Row" of Nags Head. Acquired by the current owners in late 2020 it was completely renovated in 2021 for the first time in it's charming, 80+ year history. Although there isn’t a beach view from Blue Umbrella you have direct access to the beach via a private foot-path (approx. 150').
