This beautiful cabin is only 40 min from Reykjavík for 4 people in two queen size beds (one bedroom and a loft), one more person can sleep on a mattress if needed. Hot tub, gas grill, wifi, Netflix, bathroom with shower and fireplace. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. The cabin is close to Hvalfjörður, Hvammsvík Hot springs, Glymur (Iceland's tallest waterfall), Thingvellir (30 min), Golden Circle and Snæfellsnes (170 km). Great opportunity to see the Northern lights if weather allows.

The Secret Cabin with hot tube in Nature Reserve

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Huset ligger på en stor privat grund og består af stort og veludstyret køkken med spiseplads, stue med brændeovn, 2 soveværelser og et tredje soveværelse i et seperat gæstehus, tæt på hoved huset. Der er en dejlig stor terrasse med gas gril og hot pot med udsigt til bjerge. Badekåber og tøfler til rådighed for gæsterne.

Very centrally located; Keflavik Airport 35 minutes, Blue Lagoon 35 minutes, Reykjavik city centre 25 min. Relax after a busy day in front of the fireplace and / or the salt water hot tub, whilst enjoying the northern lights.

The house is a fantastic renovated 1930s town house in the Norðurmýri residential neighbourhood in the centre of Reykjavík. On the main floor there is a hall, dining room, kitchen, TV room with a sofa and the living room with a beautiful fireplace and access to the garden. Upstairs there are three bedrooms, bathroom and toilet. The main bedroom has a door to the balconies. Main bedroom has a 180 cm bed, other big bed room has two 90 cm single beds and the small room has a 140 cm bed.

The apartment has recently been renovated and consists of two bedrooms, one bathroom , a kitchen connected to a spacious dining-/living room . From the living room you can go to a balcony. The tv area is in the hall. The third room is a study/ working room. The apartment contains a lot of books, vinyl records and artworks.

In walking distance you have a grocery store, big swimming pool, the famous Sky lagoon and the fabulous pub Mossley. Also you have the largest shopping center in Iceland called Smáralind in walking distance.
