The Sow's Ear is a restaurant located inside Silverpick Lodge.
They feature “Refined Rustic” cuisine. That is short hand for local, seasonal and prepared in house. What Grandma made but with a wider variety of ingredients, prepared for the 21st century pallet and lifestyle.
They are known for the Best Steaks on the Mountain, elk, quail. wild boar, miso salmon, fresh salad (they grow their own sprouts in house) and homemade dessert. They bake bread fresh daily and even can our own fruit for dessert. They also offer vegetarian and gluten free items from our vegan garden.

If you are skiing or hanging out around the village near Purgatory resort Paradise Pizzeria is a good place to stop for a delicious pizza. Portion sizes are large. Pizza quality is surprisingly good for a ski resort. Great place for families. Good atmosphere.

The setting is simply amazing but don’t let it intimidate you, this is unwind, relaxed dining where you define your experience. Shared plates? Sure. A romantic, unrushed dining experience or special occasion? Absolutely.
Great place for couples and families to go for a nice dinner. Open 5-9pm daily. Reservations are encouraged. Stop for a drink at the Diamond Belle Saloon located in the hotel.
