Fantastic little co-op grocery store. This is like the farmers market everyday. Lots of local farm products along with all the essential groceries and self care items you may need at your Airbnb. It is walkable from most of my vacation rentals in town. Real food. Real community.

Best breakfast in town. Close to all our in town Airbnb’s. I recommend the gluten free pancakes and the omelets! So good!

Very special restaurant for great steaks and seafood. This is one of my favorites and has a real old west feel. You need a reservation however, if it’s not a busy night you can sit at the bar. The cocktails are top notch and the bar tender is very nice. My favorite is to share a steak, and add a bunch of sides, like asparagus! And lobster.
Love this restaurant.

Excellent New Mexican food! Green and red chili with pinto berms and pisole. Great enchiladas. We get the Bandito Margarita and it’s so satisfying ;-)

This extensive trail system is close to our Airbnb’s in town. There are over 50 miles of well marked trails in this system. Dogs are welcome lots of people take them off leash. Great hiking and mountain biking! Oh, and mule ridding!

This is a great play stop on the River Trail. There is a large playground and you can play along the river. In high water season you will see kayakers “surfing” the rapids. You can walk south to the Serious Texas BBQ. Maybe one mile down for lunch.

Best bookstore in Durango! In the summer they have ice cream. Located: a small walk north of the Power House Childrens Museum.
