Black Dragon Canyon is named for Dragon rock art that the canyon contains. This epic canyon is deep and cool, but only accessible by vehicle for a short drive. Off-roading vehicles will get much further, but the drive will be slow. The wall art is a major feature of the canyon, but was recently altered by a tourist and is no longer as clear as it once was. That said, make sure to visit the panel while you can! A small, fairly low cave is also located off to the left of the Dragon and is very popular with families. Please note, the cave requires a steep, but very short hike to access. The cave is not marked with a sign, but the trail up to it is fairly visible.
