Built in 860 in the early Heian period. It is known as one of the five-colored Fudoson placed in Edo in order for the Edo Shogunate to protect Edo Castle. In addition to Meki, there are Mejiro, Meguro, Meao, and Meaka. There are many water bottles with lotus planted in the precincts, and you can meet the flowering lotus in early summer.
