Newgrange - is an exceptionally grand passage tomb built during the Neolithic period, around 3200 BC, making it older than Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids Knowth and Dowth are similar mounds that together with Newgrange have been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Newgrange is a Neolithic tomb, 5200 years old situated in the Boyne Valley. It is an Ancient Temple, a place of astrological, spiritual, religious & ceremonial importance. A definite must see in Ireland's ancient East.
The centre is an information hub that’ll help you explore Newgrange and Knowth before you visit the attractions themselves.
