Next to pretty Torver beck, with frontage to the quiet western shore of Coniston Water, it’s the perfect place for a ‘get-away-from-it-all’ break. Wren is beautifully refurbished but retains lots of character. Surrounded by fantastic scenery you don't need to go far to enjoy the beauty of the Lakes. Stroll down to the lake to sit and unwind, walk up onto the Common for amazing views, or explore the lake and island by canoe.

The Joiner's Cottage

Welcome to The Joiner's Cottage, a charming Lakeland house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Situated in a small hamlet less than two miles from the village of Coniston, a 30 minute walk from the lake shore and just a 20 minute stroll along a public footpath to the local pub in Torver. The walk up the Old Man of Coniston starts at the front door. This spacious cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is very dog friendly. Pets cost £20.00 in total for their stay. (Just put 1 in the dog box).

There is a stone patio with table and chairs at the front of the cottage with amazing views over the lake, village and surrounding hills.

With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable living room & a fully equipped kitchen. We allow a maximum of four guests including children. Up to two dogs are welcome at Latter Rigg Cottage.
