The cabin in situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons close to the market town of Abergaveny, with walks, Cycle rides including mountain biking, cold water swimming. It is ideal for for couples, families or business travellers . It is a 15 minute walk to the Historic Caerphilly Castle and 15 minutes drive/train to the city of Cardiff. It has a large balcony off the main bedroom where you can enjoy the superb mountain view. It is close to country walks, golf courses, cycle trails and country pubs.

Parking is located at the property on a quiet street. There is also a very nice restaurant/pub just around the corner which over looks the river. The property is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff and 30 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is also a train station nearby.

The Bailey is a self-contained studio annexe with a private entrance at The Forge Lower Machen. With double bed, shower room, two comfy armchairs, dining area for two, outside seating area for two, wardrobe, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, toaster, small fridge and microwave. Travel cot available by request. Parking on site. Towels and bed linen provided. Situated just off the A468, very convenient but some noise from the road.
