Within walking distance of a village pub, shop, cafes and gift shop. Caldbeck is situated on the fifth and final section of the Cumbria Way. The cottage is perfect for walkers and non-walkers as there is plenty to do around the area. If you are bringing your dog, please make sure you include them in your booking as there is a charge to bring a pet.

A lovely cottage on the edge of the Lake District sleeping up to four. Original features with oak beams, deep bath, comfy beds. Two bedrooms, king size and twin/super king, the twin beds can be 'zip and linked' together to form super king. Quiet village location with pub. Beautiful lakes and mountains nearby for walks and adventures. Cockermouth market town is 4 miles away, with supermarkets, good independent shops, restaurants and cafes.

The Old Map Shop

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.

The Croft is a beautiful cottage in the heart of the town of Cockermouth, overlooking the river and a short walk from the shops, pubs, restaurants and other amenities. It is a luxurious, well equipped base from which to explore the Lake District. We welcome all visitors, their children and pets, come and relax in this calm, stylish space.
