Luxurious Self Catering Annex

Thatched Cottage Annex has been newly converted to a very high standard and offers comfortable self catering accommodation. It is set in two and a half acres of private paddocks and woodland within the South Downs National park and offers easy access to Goodwood Race course, the beautiful villages of Petworth, Midhurst and Arundel and is only 15 miles from the coast. We are pleased to offer private off road parking behind electric gates. You also have your own private dog friendly garden which can be used for Al Fresco dining as it has a BBQ, a large comfortable double bedroom with solid oak flooring, a fully equipped kitchen complete with hob, microwave/oven/grill and fridge, a wetroom walk in shower with underfloor heating and a lovely seating area with leather chairs sky TV and internet access. A mile down the road is Charlie's Farm shop which stocks all their own produce and also provides a selection of wines. Nearby there are numerous cycle paths, walks and golf courses.. We recommend a car but there are a large number of local country pubs within a 3 mile radius that offer a wide varity of menus. Please note: We are now pleased to be able to offer 'Elderflower', our newly acquired Shepherds Hut as an alternative to the annex or to compliment it if four person accommodation is required. The Shepherds Hut is located 50m from the annex, within the grounds of Thatched Cottage. It is also listed on this website.

16th century Grade 2 listed cottage on a quiet street in Petworth, a beautiful market town famous for its cobbled streets and numerous antique/homeware shops, in the heart of the South Downs. The cottage is furnished to a high standard, retaining period features and quirky charm. The cosy layout makes it ideal for couples/solo travellers. You’ll find bars, pubs, restaurants, delis and antique/homeware shops on the doorstep, and Petworth House and park (a National Trust property) is 2-mins away.

Yurt Stay in Nature. South Downs National Park.

Hand built by myself & Granny Mongolia, the Yurt is a mix of traditional Mongolian design & bohemian chic. As you enter the yurt you will instantly notice a sense of calm & grounding, an ideal retreat from a hectic lifestyle. Surrounded by countryside, the yurt is home to many Mongolian artefacts gifted to me by Granny Mongolia. It features a charcoal bbq & stove. Madehurst Arundel cosy retreat in the South Downs

The cowshed is compact with main bedroom and kitchen, bathroom and bunk room There is no living room but guests can enjoy the outside table and chairs in the summer or take a rug up the garden and enjoy the spectacular views of the South Downs - it is fabulous and very peaceful with no WiFi. There is a flat screen tv and underfloor heating. Ideal for a family of 4, or for 4 adults it is quite cosy. Perfect for walkers and cyclists. We are very close to the Pig in the South Downs restaurant

Entire guest house studio - West Sussex

Stay in our lovely bright studio annexe, in the grounds of our house on the outskirts of Billingshurst. Ideally situated to explore West Sussex we are close to Petworth, Parham House, Arundel and the South Downs National Park. The Studio has a comfortable King size bed, seating area, kitchen with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine and a fully fitted bathroom. There is also a freeview TV and Wifi. The Studio is independent of the main property and has its own parking space.

Nestled in the rural village of Fittleworth, Wishing Well Cottage is the perfect getaway right in the heart of the South Downs National Park. The cottage is newly renovated with many of it's beautiful original features restored. Situated on a quiet private road, bordered by woodland, and brilliantly placed for Petworth, Midhurst, Goodwood, walking on the South Downs, and the delights of Chichester and the South Coast. Compact and cosy, Hazelnut Corner offers one double bedroom, one single room, modern shower room, and an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. Outside is a small private patio area

Nightingale Cabin

The hand-built, eco-friendly wood cabin is in the shaded, far corner of the 1 acre plot, facing south towards downland, across fields and a small pond where water birds gather. The cabin is full of rustic charm. It is a completely secluded and tranquil place, ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a short-term escape from the hassle and bustle of city life. It provides a perfect retreat for writers or artists.
