The Cabin A secluded, self contained log cabin

The Cabin is a purpose built log cabin with easy access for people with impaired mobility. It is positioned in an isolated private garden of a family owned smallholding. The Cabin looks out over the surrounding country. It has its own secluded private garden and foot access to many acres of local woods and walks. We welcome dogs and they stay for free. But please let us know you are bringing them. We do not accept bookings that include infants or children as we are only insured for adults.

Our place is a self-contained studio flat on the edge of a little town. There is an excellent vegetarian cafe and health food shop 2+ minutes walk away. The town itself is bustling but relaxed with a friendly atmosphere. The river and castle are ten minutes walk away. The area is rich for places of outstanding natural beauty Our house is three hundred years old and has a lot of history. It stands just above the town and has some beautiful views over the valley. It can be noisy , particularly on a Friday or Saturday night because of its central location and proximity to bars. There is a tattoo studio downstairs and a tenant upstairs .

Cwmderi, a green valley.

Cwmderi is an old Welsh cottage at the heart of a working farm and with superb views of the Cynin valley. The cottage has been restored in an open-plan style to a very high standard in traditional ways using local materials, at its centre is a large wood stove. There are places for picnics on the farm and plenty of quiet walking routes around the area.
