Secluded Hut on the Welsh Border

Kingfisher Camp is a romantic hideaway set in the dimple of a hillside of a small farm in the foothills of the Black Mountains. The hut is available for anyone who is content to cuddle up by candlelight and light the woodburning stove to get cosy, or spend a night out by the fire, cooking food and star gazing. The setting is gorgeous, the views are stunning, the hut is much bigger than a shepherds hut, and the shower is a glorious experience! It's pretty special here. Hard to beat we think!

Maple House Lodge is a 1st floor guest annex, accessed via an external staircase. Located in a quiet location on the edge of the village, with rural views and comprising an open plan sitting/dining area, with TV and a well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, sink, fridge, and cooking utensils for our self catering guests. Old Shop Cabin is a beautiful and relaxing place from which to enjoy Hay-on-Wye (the famous book town) and the wonderful countryside of the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons, and Herefordshire's Golden Valley. It is totally self-contained, has ample off-road parking and also has its own completely private, south-facing garden with a tranquil view looking out onto the village church.
