Driftwood Cottage, Gower. A perfect beach getaway

Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

The 150 year old cottage is up a quiet lane above the town of Burry Port. Guests love the view across the bay to the Gower and the peaceful country setting - with mature private garden, terrace & BBQ. There is wi-fi, Sky TV and a cosy dining room with a log burner for the colder days (logs provided). It’s close to the beach at Pembrey & the attractions of the Carmarthenshire countryside. Only 5 minutes drive from the A40 and 2.5 miles from Whitland town which has a train station, pubs, cafes, butchers, greengrocers, launderette, Chinese takeaway and Co-op. Centrally situated to explore Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion and all the beautiful beaches West Wales has to offer.

Situated on the Welsh Coastal Path, we provide a base from which to explore the glorious Welsh coastline. A haven for wildlife with regular sightings of red kites, badgers and for the lucky few, otters at play. Holt Cottage is set in the countryside that Dylan Thomas would have gazed upon and has view of his Boathouse and Writing Shed.

Ty-Ni, Laugharne

"Ty-Ni" is situated in the idyllic township of Laugharne on the Carmarthen Bay Estuary, a good base for visiting Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire, in South West Wales. Laugharne hosts the poet Dylan Thomas's Boat House and writing shed where he wrote some of his works including "Under Milkwood". Ideally located to explore the Coastal Path for stunning scenic walks, and close to Tenby, Saundersfoot, Narberth & further a field St David's, Pembroke, the West Coast.
