We have a super kitchen area Our shower is powerful and the bed is highly comfortable. We specifically welcome cyclists, walkers and mountain bikers. Street and council parking available.

Simply sit back and relax. All bookings include a personally tailored welcome basket as well as a log burner starter kit(winter) or a disposable BBQ(summer) to help you settle in.

Nelson Cottage is a newly renovated cottage 5 minutes walk from the centre of Knighton on the Wales / England border. The renovation was done entirely by the host, a local builder, to a very high standard while maintaining period features. The property features a patio and garden area to the rear, and a French balcony in the master bedroom which offers beautiful views of the Welsh countryside. The cottage is able to sleep up to six people with two bedrooms upstairs and a sofa bed downstairs.

Tawny Owl Barn

Tawny Owl Barn is a 200-year-old, grade 2 listed, tastefully converted barn in the village of Leintwardine. A large garden is available for our guests which has a wildlife pond and waterfall and another barn with an open fire available for sitting around. Rooms are spacious, well furnished, and well-equipped. There is a large kitchen/diner and lounge plus two bedrooms with en-suites. A large lounge settee can also be used as a double bed. There are two pubs and shop within walking distance.

Dogs welcome but will need to message host first to discuss Logs/coal for the fire will be extra or you can bring your own
