Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons

Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

With a truly panoramic view out over the Brecon Beacons mountain range the accommodation is central for the whole South Wales region and an ideal base for walking,cycling,golf and mountain climbing .The Gower is an easy drive as is Brecon ,Cardiff and the Bay.There are many local attractions including the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan,Big pit ,Dan yr Ogof caves,Caerphilly Castle, Castell Coch and Bike Parc Wales to name just a few.

You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting Bike Park Wales, Zip World South or working away from home. We are dog friendly and there is a £20 charge per dog per stay. In addition we are happy for bikes to be stored in the main hall under the stairs if you bring chain and padlock or taken into your studio providing they are clean.
